The Federal Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for providing expertise and direction to the Compliance Department and business units which relate to or impact the Company’s compliance with the federal laws that govern GM Financial business, such as but not limited to, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Federal Accurate Credit Transactions Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act Regulation B promulgated thereunder, Service Members Civil Relief Act, and various U.S. state and local impacting credit reporting and anti-discrimination laws (e.g., New York Executive law 296-A). This manager is responsible for the administration of federal compliance monitoring and reporting, assessing training content and frequency for regulatory compliance, assisting in responding to both internal and external regulatory inquiries concerning federal regulatory compliance. This manager will promote and underscore the overall importance of federal regulatory compliance, and build upon our established compliance culture. This manager will have contact and interaction with all levels of management and departments across the organization, particularly the Chief Compliance Officer, Compliance Department leadership, as well as auditors, and/or federal/state examiners.
