  • Overview

    The Servicing Outsourcing Analyst is responsible for assisting the Servicing Outsourcing and Vendor Management team to effectively implement organizational related strategies. The analyst will participate and collaborate as needed on the implementation of Outsourcing Initiatives including account level review and reconciliation with vendors. Responsibilities also include completing process analysis and reviews of Outsourcing related functions for adherence to GM Financial contract service level agreements, policy, business processes, and procedures.



    • Work closely with the Servicing Outsourcing Management team to provide analysis in the implementation of outsourcing strategies
    • Provide support as needed on the implementation of Outsourcing Initiatives
    • Complete Vendor Operation and Process Reviews ensuring uniformity and standardization of Policies and Procedures
    • Maintain and update Outsourcing Workflows
    • Conduct monthly audits and analysis of Vendor processes and report findings to management
    • Participate in Potential Vendor Analysis and Evaluation
    • Conduct business process testing
    • Provide training and communication as needed to team members throughout the organization and occasionally perform in-charge roles on less complex department assignments
    • Provide communication with Outsource Vendors as needed
    • Evaluate and analyze Vendor Operations procedures to ensure adherence to GM Financial policy
    • Provide support to the management team in the development and implementation of new procedures
    • Conduct reporting and analysis on outsourced portfolio
    • Review and ensure accounts have the appropriate status and assignment
    • Present all analyses to management in a clear and concise manner



    Reports to: VP Servicing Outsourcing and Vendor Management

    Direct reports: None     



    • Must exhibit in-depth knowledge of Automotive Finance servicing functions, policies and procedures
    • Proficient with PC software applications such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Visio
    • Advanced knowledge of systems such as AS400 and Aspect



    • Strong analytical skills
    • Independently evaluate and maintain a level of professional skepticism
    • Work with minimal supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience in related field
    • 2-4 years’ experience in management, reporting, audit, training or related area
