  • Overview

    The Remarketing Solutions Analyst I is responsible for analysis, and reporting on factors that impact retail, lease, and other collateral in the wholesale market. This position will use complex analysis concepts to mitigate risks and identify opportunities relative to pricing and profitability. This team member is responsible for summarizing and reporting this information to a variety of internal clients and upper management. This position will interact with many other departments in the interest of achieving the overall company objectives.



    • Maintain thorough understanding of relevant Remarketing data sources and metrics
    • Review and analyze standard remarketing related data to extract meaningful insights and trends and make recommendations to leadership which will improve business performance
    • Actively participate in all wholesale pricing discussions and provide supporting recommendations for current Remarketing Solutions strategy
    • Develop and maintain standardized business and operational reporting
    • Conduct ad hoc research projects incorporating project design, data collection and analysis, summarization of findings and presentation of results
    • Develop recommendations for operational policies and procedures
    • Gather and analyze data to determine impact to business operations
    • Present analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format
    • Maintain and apply knowledge of wholesale auction data
    • Maintain systems for tracking projects; communicate results to management
    • Work with other departments in the interest of achieving assigned objectives
    • Participate in system testing and creation of training materials
    • Lead projects or special assignments as required


    Remarketing Solutions Analyst Manager US



    • Demonstrated proficiency with the following tools: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Understanding and experience with the following preferred: Data warehouses, Data mining, Reporting, Data analysis and visualization techniques
    • Knowledge of consumer auto lending / leasing portfolio preferred
    • preferred Remarketing industry experience and be familiar with various lease customer and asset disposal processes preferred
    • Knowledge of Remarketing vendor systems preferred, such as: AutoIMS, Openlane’s Dealer Direct platform, AutoVIN
    • Understanding of the metrics utilized in monitoring the loan origination process in a consumer lending portfolio is a plus


    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Experience with respect to data analysis and spreadsheet modeling and/or reporting preferred
    • Experience with coding (SAS or SQL preferred) for data mining and manipulation preferred
    • Querying skills and knowledge in a data warehouse environment
    • Demonstrated quantitative skills
    • Acute attention to detail
    • Effective written and verbal presentation skills
    • Ability to interact collaboratively and proactively with internal customers
    • Capable of supporting multiple projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, meeting deadlines


    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, MIS, or other quantitative field required


    • 0-2 years of data mining and query tool experience (SAS preferred) preferred
    • 0-2 years of Remarketing and/or captive experience preferred
    • 0-2 years of experience in similar role preferred
