  • Overview

    The AVP Digital Program Administration is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Digital project management team, supporting and partnering with the PMO process strategy in alignment with industry best practices. The team is responsible for managing the program and project management lifecycle and creating safeguards against risk through proactive guidance, comprehensive documentation and continual assessment of GM Financial's business processes and internal controls. The AVP will promote team member integrity, ethical compliance and build upon our established culture. The AVP will have contact and interaction with all levels of management and departments across the organization as well as external customers, auditors and/or state examiners. There will be a great deal of interaction with senior leaders from all across the organization and on-going collaboration with the ITS leadership team.

    • Build relationships across the organization, while leveraging individual and cultural diversity to assist in achieving business goals and objectives
    • Assist SVP in determining the department's annual business plan and setting budgetary requirements
    • Research, recommend, and implement process improvements related to GMF's project management methodologies as warranted; support strategic approaches to PMO processes
    • Summarize and formulate viable recommendations for the improvement of business operations, efficiencies and internal controls
    • Ensure documentation and process audits are performed to verify compliance with project controls
    • Ensure appropriate provisioning of systems in compliance with company standards and policies
    • Assist with budgetary planning to support departmental needs; perform cost analysis when assessing the need for system enhancements or change in department processes; monitor staffing requirements
    • Prepare and present performance and review plans timely based on company guidelines
    • Support project and executive reporting needs of the PMO, developing multiā€level presentations as needed

    • Knowledge of regulatory compliance of applicable state and federal lending laws
    • Knowledge of the financial industry

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred


    • 5-7 years of experience in project management required
    • 3-5 years of program management experience required
    • 3-5 years of experience managing exempt team members required

    Work Conditions

    • Normal office environment, may be stressful at times
    • There may be a requirement to occasionally work a flexible schedule with the possibility of working long hours
