  • Overview

    ​The Senior Human Resources Generalist is an HR Business Partner (HRBP) position supporting the day-to-day Human Resources activities within the assigned business unit.  The position administers human resources policies, procedures, and programs and deals with matters of a more routine to moderately complex nature.



    • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance on routine and moderately complex employee relations matters.
    • Prepare and analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership to develop solution, programs and policies. This includes basic knowledge of the local market trends.
    • Manage and resolves a variety employee relations issues including routine to moderately complex situations. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and maintains ER database in a timely manner.
    • Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, recommending policy change as needed.
    • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
    • Interact with management and employees to improve work relationship, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
    • Support HR leadership to effectively roll out company or business unit initiatives.
    • Maintain business knowledge awareness about the business unit's financial position, its culture and its competition.

    • High School Diploma ​or GED/equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree ​in HR related field or equivalent experience preferred
