  • Overview

    ​The ETL Developer II is responsible for extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) the data warehouse. The ETL Developer II will develop, maintain, and support the enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. This team member will analyze and review object and data models and the metadata repository in order to structure the data for better management and quicker access. The ETL Developer II will be competent to complete most data warehousing tasks independently, but may require some instruction and guidance on more complex tasks.



    • Execute data loading techniques for all data warehouse load projects which includes extracting a desired subset of data, transforming and converting data, creating mappings from source tables to destination tables, and writing and loading the result dat
    • Write SQL code to extract, transform, and load data ensuring compatibility with all tables and customer specifications.
    • Facilitate and monitor data warehouse performance.
    • Work with various levels of software developers to load data into the data warehouse and identify potential problem areas in the source system.
    • Actively pursue and recommend areas of improvement for data loading techniques and/or population order.
    • Work with internal business clients to problem solve data loading or integrity issues. Collaborate with the data modeling team to understand, interpret, and implement data warehouse requirements.
    • Ensure metadata repository is accurate and updated regularly.
    • Perform data load monitoring and resolution.
    • Make recommendations regarding problem resolution.
    • Create, execute, and rearrange sessions; monitor load times of sessions; and rearrange processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the loading process.



    • Knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
    • Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices
    • Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
    • Working knowledge of the consumer loan business
    • Significant experience in a large and complex business environment
    • Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
    • Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
    • Working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups


    • Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software
    • Deadline oriented
    • Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
    • Ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
    • Ability to interact with staff at all levels
    • Excellent writing and speaking skills
    • Strong people skills
    • Experience with data visualization concepts and tools
    • Advanced computer skills and conversance in information technology issues


    • Bachelor’s Degree ​Computer, Information Technology required


    • 2-4 Years Informatica , Data warehouse; Experience with ETL tools is a plus. Required
