The Risk Analyst II – Business Intelligence is responsible for supporting the Servicing Analytics group in basic data governance, data visualization, and IT-related areas.



  • Maintain a data governance program, including full documentation
  • Create and monitor service requests with the enterprise Data Administration groups
  • Represent Servicing Analytics in enterprise projects
  • Maintain the Servicing Analytics web portal and file structures on SharePoint
  • Monitor the production reporting environment, including server shares, virtual machines, and batches
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with Server Support, Windows Networking, Data Administration, SharePoint Support, and other IT support groups
  • Assist in production and ad-hoc reporting needs

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with the following:
    • Technical systems
      • Windows in an enterprise environment (required)
      • SharePoint (preferred)
    • Data warehouses (Multi-table joins in a dimensional environment) (required)
    • Data governance and data architecture (preferred)
    • Metadata creation and maintenance (preferred)
    • Reporting (preferred)
    • Data mining (required)
    • Data analysis techniques (required)
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the metrics utilized in monitoring the servicing of a lending portfolio (preferred)


  • Moderate level of proficiency with SQL (Base SAS preferred)
  • Moderate level of proficiency with BI Visualization Tools like Cognos Analytics, SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau
  • Moderate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Moderate knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Moderate experience with respect to data structures in a data warehouse environment
  • Effective written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact collaboratively with internal customers
  • Capable of managing multiple and varied projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills
  • The qualified candidate will also be able to demonstrate proficiency with the following tools:
    • SQL (Base SAS preferred)
    • Microsoft Excel


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • 2-4 years querying large multi-table datasets and data presentation preferred
  • 2-4 years in consumer loan/lease portfolio servicing analysis preferred
  • Auto finance/collections or remarketing experience is a plus
