  • Overview

    The UX Designer will work closely with UX research, UX information architecture, stakeholders, product managers and developers to concept, design, and iterate for a variety of websites supported by the GM Financial marketing department.



    • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, UX research, and UX information architects to create UX enhancements and translate market and user research into mid and high fidelity mockups
    • Hands-on development of mockups, and interactive prototypes
    • Developing rich UI designs for multiple websites
    • Designing pixel perfect mockups
    • Articulating designs to development through redlining, interactive guides or other resource materials
    • Articulate design decisions and present to stakeholders and product owners
    • Support the brand standards through consistent use and implementation of the style-guide

    Direct Reports: None



    • Advanced knowledge of Sketch or Adobe XD
    • Advanced understanding of responsive design
    • Solid understanding of user experience process and best practices
    • Basic understanding of coding techniques


    • Must be comfortable interfacing with developers, product managers and non-technical executives
    • Keen eye to preserve integrity of the brand guidelines and digital style-guide throughout the entire development process


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
    • 3-5 years of Web Design, UX/UI Design and/or HCI design
    • Experience with wireframe, workflow and information architecture design
    • Experience conducting user research and analysis
    • Experience crafting A/B testing strategies and implementing analytics funnels
