The VP Business Operations is responsible for communication, coordination and implementation of shared strategic sales initiatives, based on goals that will promote sales growth and dealer satisfaction for the Buick and GMC organization. The VP is the primary interface between GM Financial (GMF) and the Buick GMC corporate sales and marketing office.



  • Collaborate with the U.S. Vice President of Buick and GMC on new car incentive plays, go to market strategies and brand awareness to ensure full GMF alignment & participation.
  • Act as a primary resource to the Buick and GMC leadership team to provide education and understanding of key GM Financial products, programs and dealer training resources capabilities.
  • Work with Buick and GMC leadership team on GMF lease end-of-term retention and sales opportunities.
  • Communicate GMF CPO and Remarketing programs to ensure alignment with Buick and GMC’s sales and customer retention priorities.
  • Coordinate and lead brand specific report-out for the U.S. Vice President of Buick and GMC.
  • Attend and participate in all relevant divisional and off-site dealer meetings. (Example: Manager meeting, Go to market, Budget, Priority planning, Network, Owner meeting, Dealer counsel, etc.)
  • Take action on appropriate Buick and GMC priorities using GMF to leverage incremental sales. Work with regional GMF sales and credit leadership to engage support. (Example: Interaction with Dealer Services & Pricing leadership supporting new product launch and creating specific goals for attainment).
  • Become the primary GMF point of contact for the Buick and GMC channel leadership. Engage in proactive discussions for buy/sell, floorplan opportunities and dealer issues.   Communicate and coordinate with GMF corporate and regional leaders and assist as needed to execute sales strategy.
  • Work closely with the Buick and GMC channel team in order to maximize sales budget usage and effectiveness of joint sales campaigns, dealer events, and contest opportunities. Where possible synch GMF with Buick and GMC calendar of events.
  • Support Buick and GMC national sales efforts by providing feedback and analysis on current or proposed APR and lease programs. Work cross-functionally with various GMF stakeholders. Utilize existing relationships, business acumen, and experience to influence an expedited response time and offer useful alternatives when necessary.
  • Support development of Buick and GMC Regional Directors by providing F&I and Floorplan related training and instruction on dealer benefits.



  • Extensive and current knowledge of credit, funding and collections processes in consumer finance.                                
  • Extensive knowledge of the retail automobile finance industry.

  • Experience in sales, marketing & pricing management.                              
  • Experience in the auto finance industry.                            
  • Experience in business plan development and execution.                              
  • College degree preferred.

High energy and fast paced office, subject to stressful conditions. Travel is an integral part of position. Work schedule will include some nights, weekends, or holidays.
