The Assistance Vice President: Remarketing Solutions Analytics is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Remarketing Solutions analysts to develop comprehensive reporting and provide analytical insights into the Remarketing Solutions business. The role will lead the Remarketing Solutions analytics team in query writing, data mining, and model building to support information requests from both internal and external customers. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining various reporting packages including operational scorecards and performance metrics. The role will be responsible for monitoring business trends and evaluating strategic actions. Additionally the role will directly collaborate with business and system-related projects and collaborates with resources from other functional areas when necessary.



  • Maintain thorough understanding of relevant Remarketing data sources and seek out improvements to existing structure to streamline data sources
  • Review and analyze Remarketing related data to determine trends to assess past programs and make recommendations on future programs
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and distribute management reporting for key asset sale metrics, price performance and channel optimization
  • Develop and maintain key scorecard and performance metrics for team benchmarking
  • Maintain a coordinated approach to performance metric management with other GMF departments and act as a liaison for enhancements
  • Actively participate in all wholesale pricing discussions and provide supporting recommendations and performance assessments of current Remarketing Solutions strategies
  • Mentor and coach analyst team members to utilize the latest GMF data mining tools, and to present analyses in clear, concise, and actionable formats
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to develop, support and implement business process enhancements through the use of data analytics
  • Perform ad hoc data mining and analytical functions as needed to support information requests related to various internal and external customers
  • Represent Remarketing organization as needed on corporate projects



  • Reports to: VP Remarketing Solutions: GM Integration and Analytics
  • Direct Reports: Remarketing Solutions Analysts




  • High level knowledge of consumer auto lending / leasing portfolio
  • Preferred experience in Remarketing industry and be familiar with various lease customer and asset disposal processes
  • Mid-level experience with relational databases and query language.
  • Advance level of experience with software applications such as MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SAS
  • Preferred knowledge of Remarketing vendor systems such as AutoIMS, Openlane’s Dealer Direct platform, and AutoVIN



  • Ability to interact collaboratively with external and internal customers
  • Experience in leading and developing team-members or leading collaborative teams
  • Effective written and verbal presentation skills including presentation building
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning ability
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capable of managing multiple and varied projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment
  • Advance level skills with Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and query language such SQL/SAS
  • Ability to independently evaluate proposals and make recommendations to upper management



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Prior Remarketing experience in an analytics role preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in an analytics function
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (in similar role preferred)
