Overview

This role is highly visible and will interact with a wide range of Senior Managers. The incumbent will perform moderately complex work assignments and problem resolution to support business decisions through a variety of activities including but not limited to reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. Additionally, the role will include developing and implementing tools for forecasting and analyzing working capital needs and capital structures

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a universal interest expense forecasting model using actual and forecast debt balances and funding costs.
  • Analyze the optimal capital structure for International Operations to support growth and comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Perform analysis to support Leadership in activities involving banks and other external organizations including preparation and delivery of presentations.
  • Develop reporting and analytical tools for use with senior management.
  • Monitor and manage global liquidity and cash positions. Will work with local treasury staff in developing and enhancing processes and systems in this area.
  • Perform financial analysis in areas of cash planning and working capital to support short and long term liquidity plans.
  • Collect and analyze competitor funding strategies and market activity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills 

  • Excellent verbal & written English language skills
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly with Excel & Power Point
  • Ability to do cash flow and cost of debt analyses
  • Experience in legal documentation of debt transactions

Preferred Skills

  •  University or graduate degree (Finance, Commerce, Business Admin., Economics)
  • Knowledge about a variety of debt instruments, preferably including debt derivative instrument
