Overview

The Sales and Credit Operations Analyst II-Dealer Services is responsible for the development and implementation of sales and credit operational strategies and programs that support Dealer Services (U.S. and Canada). The Sales and Credit Operations Analyst II compiles, integrates and analyzes data from a variety of proprietary internal and external databases, to facilitate efforts that support the originations efforts. This team member interfaces with the EVPs, Sales and Credit SVPs, Sales and Credit VPs, RSMs/RCMs and other cross-functional departments to create consistent operational communication that support the sales and credit divisions.      

 

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of sales and credit operational communication for the dealer customers and Dealer Services team members.
  • Assist with the implementation of all sales and credit operational strategies and initiatives that support the sales and credit divisions as well as Loan Services, CSS, Commercial Lending, Remarketing Solutions and Pricing/Product Development.
  • Create in-house sales and credit operational communication materials that support the launch of new products and services with the Sales and Credit SVPs, Sales and Credit VPs and other related departments, while ensuring timely completion and delivery of materials to field.
  • Create templates, presentations and provide strategic support while leveraging the Editorial Style Guide.
  • Assist with the creation and communication of local and regional dealer contests.
  • Assist in planning and executing internal sales and credit incentive programs and contests as necessary.
  • Assist with the coordination of trade shows, Sales Rally and other marketing origination programs as needed, which include organizing travel and event details, contract negotiations, correspondence of event(s), and obtaining the necessary approvals.
  • Assist with the coordination of Dealer Events, which include organizing travel and event details, contract negotiations, correspondence of event(s), and obtaining the necessary approvals.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of all Dealer Events upon completion of events to measure the return on the investment (ROI).
  • Provide dealer facing portals and internal sites with accurate content.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues from the credit and sales team members on any sales and credit operational initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials and events.

  • Perform other related duties and task as assigned or as become evident.
  • Work closely with Dealer Services EVPs, Sales and Credit SVPs and Sales and Credit VPs, Pricing/Product Development, Internal and External Training, Loan Services, Commercial Lending, Remarketing Solutions, AP, Purchasing, FP&A, Legal and Communications.            

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

  • Reports to: AVP Sales and Credit Operations
  • Direct Reports: None

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of communications principles and practices.
  • General knowledge of internal databases, i.e. SalesForce.com, Cognos, GlobalConnect, GM Supply Power and Marketo preferred.

 

Skills:

  • High energy and self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm during stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated creativity in producing and implementing marketing materials with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of word processing, database and spreadsheet software applications in a networked environment (MS Office and Adobe Products).
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and make effective decisions.
  • Good team player/consensus builder.

                                                                                                                              

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a communications and/or marketing-related position and a proven track record of analyzing, implementing and coordinating a variety of operational initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a related position.  

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal office environment.
