Overview

Under direct supervision, the Licensing Clerk is responsible for supporting the corporate licensing department to ensure all appropriate licenses are obtained and maintained in order for the company to transact business in all fifty states and Canada and across various lines of business. 

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

  • General support of corporate licensing department.
  • Assist in preparing, distributing, and tracking licensing documents.
  • Assist in coordinating, preparing and filing license renewals and related documents.
  • Assist in securing appropriate bonds as required for each type of license and state of issue.
  • Assist in preparing and filing annual reports for entities for all types of business with the secretaries of state and state banking departments, as required.
  • Scan and file documents as needed to maintain in the system of record.
  • Mail and fax documents/licensing materials.
  • Post licenses at the Arlington locations.
  • Process licenses on a regular basis.
  • Assist with various projects as needed.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to: Lead Licensing Administrator

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access.

 

Skills

  • Excellent word processing skills and organizational skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment such as, but not limited to, fax machine, copy machine, and scanner.
  • Well organized and must pay special attention to detail.
  • Must be able to set priorities and be proactive regarding assigned responsibilities.

 

Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in clerical duties or general office experience in a corporate environment preferred.       

 

WORK CONDITION:

Normal office environment.
