The Operations Analyst I - CVL position will assist in the development, implementation and on-going improvement of operational strategies, programs, products and procedures, performing effective business analysis, collaborating on project initiatives and conducting systems integration activities that support all aspects of Commercial Vehicle Lending. This position will assist in analyzing and compiling information from various sources to facilitate efforts that support efficient CVL operations across the full spectrum of CVL product offerings. In addition, this position will collaborate closely with various CVL personnel in identifying and implementing manual and systems process improvements, providing appropriate feedback to management. The success of this position will greatly depend on this team member’s ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with CVL Credit, Funding, Sales and Servicing operations, along with peers and management within various internal departments and external vendors.



  • Learn and maintain a thorough understanding of Commercial Vehicle Lending and all its product offerings and services.
  • Collaborate effectively and professionally with CVL team members and other personnel in a project-oriented environment to deliver on objectives that improve CVL operational performance.
  • Assist in the analysis of CVL manual and system processes for improved efficiency and reduced processing costs, while mitigating risk exposure.
  • Represent CVL during business requirements gathering sessions, with a keen focus on the appropriate level of detail integral to effective and efficient end-user system workflow design and relevant operational processes
  • Support CVL operations in all relevant aspects of systems integration and enhancement activities, such as writing test scripts, conducting user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
  • Create process workflows, operational procedures, presentations, and other relevant documents associated with new and existing CVL product offerings, services, and other related initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure that all relevant documents are saved and archived to the appropriate CVL document retention site(s) for current and future reference.

  • Understanding of the principles of Commercial Vehicle Lending and related product offerings and services.
  • Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic when solving issues, providing recommendations and making decisions.
  • Must have an understanding of vehicle loan/lease originations and funding operations and systems, including fleet finance.
  • Understanding of automotive dealership operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, such as Provenir, CPW, AS400, LOS, LeaseMaster, Vlinq, AutoSuite, WMS, Dealertrack and Route One, among others.
  • Working knowledge of reporting systems and query languages to include SQL and/or SAS a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, along with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle, in particular to systems-related BRD reviews, writing test scripts, and conducting user acceptance testing for quality assurance.
  • Ability to write technical operational procedures and processes, recognizing the intended audience and incorporating the appropriate level of detail. 


  • Must be able to work collaboratively and independently, and maintain a professional presence at all times.
  • Strong analytical skills are required.
  • Proactive in recognizing opportunities for operational improvement and expressing thoughts in a clear, concise, and confident manner.
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take ownership and follow through on assigned projects and tasks to completion.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and regulatory compliance of applicable state and federal lending laws is preferred.    
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen and reason objectively.


  • Two or more years of directly related experience in an automotive lending environment, preferably in commercial vehicle lending.
  • Project Management or Operations Support experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related business field is preferred.  



  • High energy and fast paced office environment subject to stressful conditions.
  • Work schedule may include some nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
