The Global Infrastructure Engineer II, under the general direction of the Manager, will assist in the day-to-day tasks critical to the team’s success. This individual will be responsible for attending project meetings when necessary and assist in gathering and documenting infrastructure and security requirements. This individual will also become familiar with all compliance, regulatory and security requirements adhering to all corporate policies and standards. This person needs to be experienced in technology with good planning and coordination skills. An energetic, solution minded personality with drive, attention to details and excellent communication skills will be needed for success in this position.

  • Identifies and directs changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
  • Understands and promotes the GM Financial policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) to ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the GM Financial business and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashion.
  • Support of Infoblox appliances which include DDI and NetMRI.
  • Create/Maintain/Improve Infoblox IPAM enterprise wide.
  • Monitor ServiceNow ticketing queue and provide timely resolution to tickets.
  • Creation/Review of Compliance Reports in Infoblox NetMRI.
  • Plan, prioritize, and provide vision and schedules for Infoblox projects and or tasks.     
  • Provide device/appliance support/maintenance after hours (if needed).                    
  • Provide internal and external customers with excellent customer service while striving to provide world-class service.                               
  • Conduct audit compliance assessments and initiate corrective action through Infoblox NetMRI.          
  • Resolve incident management tickets as they arise and ensure timely resolution.                                        
  • Adhere to all company authored policy, procedure and standards documents.

  • TCP/IP, OSI model, and IP subnetting.
  • Local and Wide Area networking concepts, principles, and protocols.  
  • Local and Wide Area network architecture.
  • Enterprise operations of a tiered application environment.
  • DNS and DHCP structure.



  • Ability to approach problems with an open-mind and create new and innovative ideas and methods.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in IT is preferred.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple business units and diverse employee population.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Infoblox Preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years Networking Experience.


  • Normal office environment; may be stressful at times. There may be a requirement to occasionally work a flexible schedule with the possibility of working long hours.
